    Do you have friends there?

    They can stop by and check stuff out.

    If you can try to make a week of apartment hunting before you move. Talk to folks who live there for locations.

    When moving to DC I took over a place from a friend which worked for a few months. Then moved to where I am now when I was more set up and knew where I wanted to live.

    When we were in that Garden Dome thing in Singapore, there was a very chesty young lady wearing a minion t-shirt, and because of the positioning of the eyes and her anatomy, it resulted in an optical illusion of a very surprised looking minion.

    I had to stop my wife from trying to take sneaky photos of her.
