I got a text message from my bank today, someone purchased a 3000 dollar plane ticket with my debit card. I immediately called my bank and froze the account, it doesn't look like purchases were made on a separate account with another bank. A new card is on the way but I'm freaking out right now. Is there anything else I should do to make sure my identity isn't stolen? I have no idea how they got a hold of my account info.

Take a breath.
99% chance you're fine now.
It's almost trivial to get a hold of a card number, and most fraud of this type all they had was the card number. Once it's blocked there's nothing more they can do.
If you want to be proactive you can put a fraud alert on you credit report here. (this is just equifax but they'll pass the info on to the other two)
Otherwise, just keep an eye on your accounts for a couple of weeks.
Most of the time fraudsters get these numbers in a massive data dump from a middleman card processor with poor security. (or corrupt employees!) It's not likely that someone stumbled on you specifically and built a file of your information.
life's a game that you're bound to lose / like using a hammer to pound in screws
fuck up once and you break your thumb / if you're happy at all then you're god damn dumb
that's right we're on a fucked up cruise / God is dead but at least we have booze
bad things happen, no one knows why / the sun burns out and everyone dies
