Is it kosher to post a link for a request for charity donation anywhere on the forums?

Is it kosher to post a link for a request for donation to a specific charity anywhere on the forum? I don't want to name the charity or reasons without ascertaining if it's okay first except to say it is a recognized organization, it's not anything crazy like NAMBLA and, yes, it's for personal reasons but the donations are to the organization.
