Dog lovers and film buffs unite! “The Dog Wedding,” a bark-out-loud romantic comedy about a German businesswoman (Rosalie Thomass) who falls for an American wrestler (Matthew Bloom) while planning their English Bulldogs’ wedding, premieres September 21, 2015 at AMC Loews Boston Common at 7:00pm.
“The movie is about how dogs bring people together, even those you would least expect,” said 6’8″, 360-pound Mr. Bloom, who is known worldwide for his 15-year career with WWE and New Japan Pro Wrestling. “I’ve had bulldogs my whole life and we’ve made all kinds of friends at the dog park. I can’t wait to share this film with the world, starting in my hometown of Boston.”

Ms. Thomass is the star of the German box office hit “One Hot Number” and “Taxi,” which she headlines with Peter Dinklage (“Game of Thrones”). “Dogs getting married was new to me,” she confessed. “I was thrilled to explore how my character “” an overworked executive at odds with her father over the direction of the family pickle empire “” would change when drawn into this wild American world of dog weddings, musclemen and cosplay.”

Brian Pillman and Mikey Whipwreck are huge surprises.

  • BlankZoeBlankZoe Registered User regular
Pillman seems like he'd be pretty necessary to do a proper Steve Austin career story, I'd think

Earl Hebner has been announced as the newest member of the [Seriously? They're Still A Thing] Hall of Fame.

I'm not quite sure how to feel right now.

    1) Silence 2) Books must be returned by the last date shown 3) Do not interfere with the nature of causality

They are almost guaranteed to be DLC as Sasha talked about getting scanned for the game at some point and I don't see them just doing Sasha

Surely will be DLC, Sasha definitely got scanned and there's a Charlotte shirt in the crowd.

Yeah I know what you mean, if there isn't a weed whacker, explosives or a tank of piranha involved then it's not a real death match.

Austin's major program in ECW was against (ECW World Heavyweight champion) Mikey Whipwreck, so I'm guessing that's it. I think Ricky Steamboat is in it for the same reason.

Edit: The reason being the 316 mode, not that Steamboat is in it because Austin wrestled Mikey Whipwreck in ECW.

Whipwreck was one of the few to wrestle Austin while he was in ECW, so I imagine it might be for that if they're doing his whole career?
    Also, he won!

It was certainly one of the best strap matches I've seen. Nothing fancy but really hard hitting and brutal.

On paper a strap match between Savio Vega and Steve Austin in mid 1996 has no business being great but both guys pulled off a miracle.

    I'M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU!!!
  • Dyvim TvarDyvim Tvar Registered User regular
    They really, really didn't though.
At best it's a relatively inoffensive match that isn't terrible. Which, yes, on the "Savio Vega scale" is actually the best you can ever hope for, but that doesn't make it good.

Everyone is different. Everyone is special.

Remember that brief moment when he was one of the biggest babyfaces in the company?
