There could be drinking. Or not drinking. Maybe some fine dining.

    Just into the States. Into Canada is a breeze. If you're driving across you can usually get by with birth certificate and government ID.

    I'm totally down for it. There has been talk with Mully/Trillian already.

    Also Rank, until the end of the year you shouldnt need a passport to drive back over the border. Right now it's a flight (and possibly boat) thing.

    I'd be up for it. I haven't been to Vancouver in, shoot, almost 2 and a half years. I love it up there, just haven't been. I'm in Seattle, so there commute's not too bad.

    Not anymore. I believe a passport is now required to leave the US period. If it isn't it will be required soon.

    We were thinking of having a CoqPAX..or Coquitlam PAX, but since nothing ever happens in Coquitlam, we'd just hang out in Vancouver.

    I'd be up for things fun given a day's warning.

    Peace Arch just north of Blaine might be a decent option. State Park so there would be picnic facilities, but I am not sure about parking on both sides of the border.

    Unless its different on the West Coast then it is over here I"m pretty sure you don't need passports yet. My friends have been going back and forth from Montreal just as often as always and they don't have any.

    ok, from what I can tell, you will start needing a passport to cross the border in January 2008.

    Right now, you need one if you are flying, but not if you're driving.
