Final casualty figures are not known but several staff and patients are confirmed dead and more seriously injured. MSF's most recent numbers are 12 staff members and at least 7 patients killed; 37 people injured including 19 staff members.

It's one stone that gives me more sympathy for Afghanistan refugees seeking asylum in Europe.
Their home is a place that could be invaded, and slowly choked out by terrorists for months, with the government's military does nothing, at least until shit hits the fan at population centers.
Then you have to worry about the US military, or your own government bombing you, in attempts to drive out the Taliban.
