Any coloring medium of your own choosing
Uncolored drawings with sweet lineart

I'll have to post some of my finished masterpieces when I get home. It is super relaxing. We use normal Crayola colored pencils, I've heard gel pens or markers are pretty popular and we may buy a set of one of them this weekend.
They went from "huh neat, coloring book for adults" to "HOLY COW THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!", you should be able to find one with the artstyle you like at the local bookstore.
I really like the ones with fantasy elements
