finding GMs?

hey all,

so I have a few friends who want to run an Edge of the Empire campaign in LA but we can't find someone who wants to GM

I was just wondering what resources you guys have employed to find GMs if you're lacking one, is there a Craigslist equivalent or something?

    My experience has been that Meetup is a good place to get find out about and involved in larger gaming groups. It's not an instant solution, but it'll probably put you in touch with other people who might want to play.

    That or one of you nut up and give GMing a go. It's fun! And you can rotate duties every so often to let everyone get their shot at playing a character.

    Much greater chance of success than finding the unicorn that is someone who wants to run a campaign specifically for a bunch of strangers.
