I think it was an '80s arcade game
It was in a haunted house, I think you played a Knight, and you went in from the outside and the outter wall looked like crumbling stucco but it went transparent when you went inside. I think the house crumbled from the top as you ran around inside. I can't remember exactly what you were trying to do inside tho. When you cleared one house you went to another that all got steadily bigger.
