Hahaha oh man this conclusion... Brilliant. The look on Binwin's face in the final panel cracked me up.

This is seriously a hilarious strip. Mike, your art has gotten just insane, I can't stand it.

I demand a Maria the bear pin. My heart needs it.

Just so I'm sure I've followed right: they were supposed to deliver the bear, but Binwin legit fell in love with her and had Jim make a (short-lived) illusion to fool the quest givers.

Do I have the right of it?

I really like this one. It's cute and kinda fucked up at the same time. I think it could do without the last text bubble from Omin though

That's about it. Took me a second too. But after what happened a few years ago at Xmass, would anyone trust one of Jim's illusions to hold up?

For true love we take the boldest risks.

I have to say, this was pretty bad. Most things Jerry writes are not good, but this was a new low. Art was beautiful like usual though. Really wish Mike would find a new writing partner.

seems like Omin wasn't aware of the switcheroo either, so his surprise is even funnier

I thought the writing was fantastic here, actually. Like, several parallel conversations based on different perspectives. It took a few seconds to figure out, and almost every single line was hilarious. It's one of my favorite strips in a while...

Where's the joke? I feel like there's an entire strip missing here.

I actually did not really understand what was going on either until I saw Enlong's post

Five strips, actually. That's why it's called "Part Six".

Wanted to say I'm really glad to read that Spencer's getting better. A sudden, severe, mystery illness that can only cause doctors to shrug and take guesses is pretty terrifying, so it must be a huge relief to be getting somewhere with it.

This story line took a weird turn. You really needed to think like the characters to enjoy this comic.

You know, I never pictured Jim as the kind to sacrifice himself for his friends.

Every now and then he has his moments. They are completely dependent on his own weird set of morals.

I have never hoped for these strips to be 100% canon more than now.

When you watch a man make love to that one special bear in his life you learn that there are certain things in this crazy world more important than yourself.

It evokes the tabletop origins of these characters, I feel - that moment when you reveal a plan you've been hiding and somebody at the table just sits up and says, "Wait - you're punching him?" or, "You've been carrying around a what?"
