Asus EeeBook X205TA screen won't start

Hey guys, so my netbook was right on the verge of dying when I plugged it in, signals somehow crossed, and now, even though it has charge and the green light indicating it's on, the screen is unresponsive. I remembered something like this happening before and all it took was holding the power button down until it turned off, then turning it on again. Now when I try that it makes no difference. Still get the green light. Still get no screen.

I figured popping the battery in and out might help, as that basically solves all problems I ever have in life, but after unscrewing the screws I find the case still very much attached. Scared to crack it by prying and can't find a tutorial anywhere.

Ideas?

My next brilliant idea was to leave the thing on until it died, then plug in and try turning it on again, but that did nothing. Same problem as before. Guess it's time to see a computer person.

Does it have a VGA/HDMI out port? If so try plugging your TV/monitor into that and see if you see anything. Might just be the cable or the power to the screen itself.
