Penny Arcade - Comic - The Wolf, Part Two By Tavis Maiden
OK this one doesn't really work for me. When you read it the dialogue breaks up the flow of the "narrated" poem... and the fact the "wolf's" line also rhymes (even using the same word) just makes it worse.
Yeah, agreed on the confusing reading. If the third banner was right above the last, so that it read like two couplets with the dialogue half-poem in between, I think that would be very cool. As it was I just stumbled over the strange scansion. I like the art in the last panel, though.
The wolf's arm position relative to his body in the last panel doesn't seem right. Either his right arm is super long or he has a third arm growing out of his chest.

I'm not sure this "wolf" is concerned with maintaining normal human proportions.
Or maybe you're onto something with this chest arm thing.
The Lookouts is one of my favorite comics and Tavis Maiden is one of my favorite artists (are you guys reading Tenko King? You guys should be reading Tenko King!). This is like a match made in heaven for me. Looking forward to more of this.
