Need help regarding microphones and such
Problem: I have a 3 acre yard and a dog that LOVES to bark at critters. Bad news, my neighbors are getting really upset about constant barking that I can't always hear.
I'm not a huge fan of shock collars or spray collars, so what I'd like to accomplish is putting a mic on my dogs collar, and a a speaker in my house so i can HEAR if he is barking and immediately call him in.
Anyone know what products to buy or where to look? I'm not even sure where to start

Reviews are bad but a quick read indicates they were trying to train the dog with them or something?
All of the products that look interesting apparently aren't out yet. There's Connected Collar (Jan 2016 release date):

And Wuf (with an umlaut) (no release date yet):

Is there a baby monitor mic that i could put onto a 30 lb dog that is an acre away? I think that's what I'm really trying to accomplish here
I think the problem here is you're leaving your dog out too long unattended.
Doc: That's right, twenty five years into the future. I've always dreamed on seeing the future, looking beyond my years, seeing the progress of mankind. I'll also be able to see who wins the next twenty-five world series.
But it's a bit pricey, of course, and you would have to outdoor proof it somehow. Think there are several devices. some might be cheaper or made for outdoors.
