SD Card help

Okay, it's getting late and I'm ready to give up and ask for help. I'm trying to consolidate my 3DS data.

If I put one folder (containing Animal Crossing) on the newer, bigger SD card, the 3DS reads it fine. If I put the other folder (Pokemon X) on it (but NOT with the first folder), it reads that fine.

But if I combine the folders, AC disappears. I've tried it a few times, and I just see X-- in the Extra Data section, I am starting to see some AC data (2 blocks worth), but not the game itself, which should be on there.

What am I doing wrong?

Are you putting them on the card as one folder or two separate folders?

When I put them on, it asks to combine the folders-- I've tried it that way, and I've tried it with putting them as separate folders (naming one of them 3DS AC"), but renaming it seems to prevent the system from reading it, so combining seems the way to go-- I think it'll only accept "3DS" as a folder name.

But like I said, even combining them doesn't seem to allow both games to be read
