I ran into a couple handlocks today playing super greedy with a good number of doubles in there deck, then playing reno - 1 pulled it off, the other was not so lucky and died next turn.
Finally, I accomplished with this dumb sentinel shaman roughly what I set out to do: I played an anubisath sentinel and reincarnated it twice with Rivendare and some other minions on the board. As a bonus, I won the game.
Couldn't also play bloodlust, which I had in hand for like ten turns straight. Oh well.
I thought I had Loatheb in there but apparently I didn't figure out how to squeeze him in.
e: I don't have the full suite of taunt-granting minions, but they'd probably make it much easier to benefit from the sentinel's effect. At that point I'd consider throwing in my ancient watchers, crafting a second owl.. How good is defender of argus? I kind of want them anyway, regardless of the potential of a sentinel watcher shaman.

Defender of Argus is x2 standard in midrange shaman, zoo, and handlock. It's a good card.
Sunfury generally only sees play in handlock, but is still an OK card in its own right.

Not even Ganging Up a Healbot will save you, Mill Rogue.

Sunfury is also in Reno decks and echo giants mage. But those aren't really relevant for a newish player.

I'm angry enough at my draws that I crafted a second lightbomb and put it in my otherwise highlander Reno Priest deck.

won control war vs control war and never even got to play reno or deathwing. what's the point?

so many threats in the deck though
So tempting to burn the gold I have to try to get to the 3200+ dust I would need to build WalletReno. I have all the legendaries except for Harrison and Baron.

Mhm, I'm only missing Deathwing. But the last time I tried a Reno Warrior I got stomped, so I'm not sure I want to do it. I'll take a look at the current meta first, if it's too aggro, then I feel standard Control or even Fatigue is better.

Defender and sunfury are pretty amazing. More so the defender. I use defender in a high percentage of decks that I'm using deathrattles ( egg activators as well as time savers) also there can come a time where you can use defender to push through lethal; though its generally in a situational "win quicker/ win more" style of 2 extra damage the turn you play him. If you think they'll work well in that shaman deck cant hurt to craft them if the majority of the packs you're opening right now are expansion based because Defender generally appears in - Druid if you're playing a token variety, Warlock if you're running a zoo based it gives you activators for the eggs, as well as raptor rogue list that ive used has them so they're not a bad craft.
Defender is currently my favourite Bran combo cardin Highlander Lock, +2/2 taunt for up to two minions is rad. Especially the turn after a Reno full heal! Delicious hunter tears.
So, I am really looking forward to the arrival of anyfin. Refill my board AND get easily a Force Roar's worth of charge damage in one card? So sorry, control. Better luck next match.
maybe they could make piloted shredder a 3/3 before they look into changing murloc knight
I'm not saying either are ridiculously OP, but piloted shredder only gives you a single umph.
Unanswered knight potentially gives you unlimited umph, and since it's limited to only murlocs, there's a good chance it'll be a GOOD umph even the first time. As opposed to getting a 1-1.

You can get a turn 3/4 oomph from a shredder though. Murloc knight is turn 6 for a guaranteed oomph.
(Yes, you COULD play a naked knight on turn 3/4, but it's probably not a good idea, as you might well not get an oomph at all with that play).
True. They're both very strong cards for sure though.
I wonder if more decks would run murloc knight if it were neutral.
It's a great mid-range card.
I def think we'd see it a lot more.
Maybe not as much as piloted due to the curve you mention.

After poking around with various stupid aggro decks I think I am going to work with two to climb this season.
I've played a few games with Strifecro's grinder Mage and so far I'm really happy with its consistency. It just has lots and lots of resources and plays a bunch of fun minions and cards. A key duplicate or discovered spell can seal the game. If you like to play reactively it has lots of answers and ways to get what you need when you need it.
The other is Purple's LOE Malygos warlock. This might be my favorite iteration of a Handlock style deck: it fights for board with minions, controls the opponent with spells, and can whip out huge damage. It can wrestle with heavy control by simply destroying them and sometimes it can even race and win against aggro. It is so much fun to balance on the edge of the Lifetap knife and then burst people down.
I probably will not play Malylock for a little while. Still too many aggro decks to be consistent, but it feels like a deck that could become one of my favorites.

I've been playing Purple's Malylock for the last couple of days and I love it. It's a ton of fun and I have a solid win rate against everything except control warriors.

I have not been doing super well with it but that probably has as much to do with me as anything else. Also I find like other warlock decks Hunters can be tough and I've been seeing a lot of them.

Against hunters it really depends on your early curve. If you can get mortal coil, guardian, and healbot pretty early you'll win easily. If not, you'll lost quick. But that's typical for any class against hunters.

So playing Dragon Control Shaman feels a lot more right than the Control Shaman I was playing before. The shell is the same but the Dragons really smooth out the consistency. I want to get rid of the Volcanic Drake though but I don't think Twilight Drake fits. I could put in Nef for one of them but not sure what to do for the other.

What's wrong with the volcanic drake? It's a dragon trigger and it's a perfect post-elemental destruction drop (frequently free if you have totems down).

I find it sitting in my hand a lot lately. I don't see as much all out Aggro anymore so I'm not really killing tons of minions with my Elemental Destruction any more. I tried Nef + Chromie. Chromie without a way to trigger a draw basically just eats removal but I wonder if that's ok.

I actually feel bad about this. I misplayed using my poly before KT, but MCT is a complete bastard.
You know, those matches against Priest that were a race against "Please let me kill them before they hit turn 8."

Its literally the same thing except turn 10 instead of 8 which doesn't require you to have a flawless draw.
Couldn't also play bloodlust, which I had in hand for like ten turns straight. Oh well.

I've been lying to myself that one is enough. It's never enough.
And of course I put two in, I can't draw one when they'd both be REALLY GOOD and it's still shutting off the Reno in my hand. natch.
Edit - Everyone should play this. Undefeated against paladins too.

which one are you using.
Murloc Knight summons Murloc Knight. Next turn they summon the third Murloc Knight and a Warleader. And that ended my Arena run 7:3
Murloc knight should be a 3-3.
