I imagine that must be how a lot of people experience FF7 too
on the other hand I think some games have aged very well, like super metroid. I didn't play super metroid until sometime in the mid-late oughts and it blew me away.

I played Planescape: Torment for the first time a couple of years ago. And Deus Ex a little before that. AND I FOUND THEM TO BOTH BE RAD I GUESS I MIGHT JUST BE MADE OF STERNER STUFF THAN OL' GEEBSIE.
