Games with plastic instruments are back my friends and I'm in on them once again.
There's two main flavors, your Rock Bands and your Guitar Heroes, and my current jam is Guitar Hero Live. This game is great. The new guitar controller handles real nice and the reconfiguration makes it feel 50% more like actually playing the guitar. The recorded live sets are stupid and awesome and the radio station format for the multiplayer works really well. Playing along with music videos is actually pretty cool and they've got radio station style bumpers in between the songs and the whole thing is just fun.
Are you strumming a plastic guitar? Banging a plastic drum? Singing into a plastic microphone? Dancing on plastic arrows like a weirdo?

i haven't played it enough to get muscle memory on any songs, but I'm pretty sure I could play on Expert, which was impossible for me in the old controller style
