I've already got my guitar, a 2001 American Stratocaster, I've got a Rockman Sustainor and Chorus/Delay for preamps. I like to think a decent little rig. The only problem is I'm still playing through my micro-cube. I'm looking for a good amp, 1x12 cone in the $600 range. I've already looked at the Fender Blues Junior and G-DEC 30. I'm torn between the awesome sound of the Junior and the features of the G-Dec. I've been playing about a year, so the drum track feature would be nice, but I'm worried 3 years down the road I will be wanting more than the G-DEC can give. So anyone here played with either? Or recommend another amp. I mostly play classic rock type stuff, though I do like to play some modern stuff.
tl:dr Recommend me a good amp

If you have the moneys and licence to crank it up, go for a basic tube amp. Any bells and whistles you want you can pick up separatly, gives so much more flexability and will sound better than built in effects and stuff.

The Blues Junior is a proper tube amp. I've played with one a little and they seem pretty good. The G-DEC 30 is an all solid state deal, isn't it? It looks to me like you can get a Blues Junior for $400 easily, or less if you're willing to go used.
The only advantage I see of the G-DEC is that (if it does what I think it does) it can produce a number of different tones and facilitates easy recording to a computer. If you can find a cheap Blues Junior, you can take whatever you have left over and maybe buy a Line6 PODxt, which are supposed to be pretty good for recording.
