Just a heads up if you are an Amazon Prime member, a bunch of upcoming games for preorder are being marked at 20% off at checkout. A good way to lock in that price guarantee. I just preordered Doom for PS4.
Becoming a regular at a food place has never bugged me, I mean, everyone's gotta eat right?
But a few days ago I went to the lego store after not having been their for a year and the lady working the register recognized me as "that guy with the lego mech book" and I was unnerved.
yeah I wasn't speaking for him, just pointing out that there is definitely a distinction to be made
you're right that engine problems might have something to do it
but then I look at something like a realm reborn
and maybe it has more to do with who's directing these projects?
yoshi-p righted that ship with a QUICKNESS when by all accounts that game should have been tossed off the back of the wagon, and it's because that dude had a vision, and had the focus to make it happen

I'll bet on Square getting part 1 of the FF7 remake out in 2017, being the 20th anniversary and all.
I would also bet on that specific target being a top 3 reason why they went episodic in the first place.
the only thing stopping me from eating there daily is the fear of employees recognizing me as a regular
I ate at the local subway (only fast food near my job) so much that I came in one day, and the employee who would have taken my order corrected guessed my order. Then one of the other employees came out and incorrectly guessed what I ordered, and the first employee went "Nope, he ordered that yesterday."

Some of the people at Freddy's Steakburgers recognize me as a regular.
It actually worked out pretty well for me once, 'cuz one of those people was in some sort of a managerial position; so when I decided to get one of their ice cream cakes for my birthday, she gave me 20% off and decorated it on the spot for me.
I used to have dozens of regulars when I worked as a retail butcher
It's very important to remember as many people as you can because it makes transactions go smoother and you can also tailor your salesmanship to the individual
If I know this lady is a penny pincher I will make a cursory effort to pitch something high end and expensive before making a proper pitch on something almost as good that's on sale

Yo I like Freddy's Steakburgers a whole lot.
I am terribly addicted to their fry sauce.
Also, the ice cream cake was pretty good! Like, a lot better than the two I've had from Cold Stone.

I don't know why - because XCOM was handily my GOTY back in 2012 - but all the stuff I've seen about XCOM 2 just isn't clicking for me. It feels like they've overstuffed it? Or overcomplicated it? I don't know how to explain.

Usually anyway one time she insisted I have some sort of curry thing that was alright

I hope you got a receipt to show off years from now like that duke nukem forever preorder guy
I'm willing to bet the first ep is out in 2017
I mean
They make games
That new FF game for 3DS hits here in like two weeks
I think that proves they can produce things within any length of time
which is not a traditional FF game, those are the games square struggles to actually produce in a timely manner
Well okay but
1) That's not what he said, and
2) That's because they're usually fucking around with their dumb proprietary engines most of the time
you're right that engine problems might have something to do it

FFVII Remake it's more of a case of "cool, I know it exists, give it to me when I can play it"
But I really want DQXI as soon as possible
There's a DQ 30th anniversary livestream tonight starting at midnight, hoping they'll show more gameplay footage
Why?
OH MY GOD I WANT THAT BLASTOISE
Weird they aren't including Yellow and a Pikachu plate though
im sorry
Europe is getting 2DSes instead.
3DS or PS4 @UnbreakableVow ?
FFXIII took 4 years from announcement (before 12 came out!) to release.
However, 15 was announced on the same day. We're getting up on 10 years now.
Whenever there's an option, always go console

I quit eating there for a long while.
We're all sorry

Their fry sauce is life.
"Steakburger" is a term that cuts to the very core of me in the best way possible
Hopefully a console port happens
Fixed that for you, homie.
