I'm impressed that we've made it five pages in without bringing up any celebrity butts.
Don't get me started on Dave Atell.
Edit: because I don't actually remember how I'd get started, so please don't.
The only thing I remember about Dave Atell is that some of my high school classmates were obsessed with his bit about getting a cucumber up the ass. So I don't have fond opinions of him.

Apparently he had something to do with an ex of mine but only Raijin remembers.

I wish Maekpoast was still up. I bet the story is in there somewhere.

I've resisted such a thing for a long time. My music is local and I know what's on every device and all this nonsense. I'm scared of change and headaches but I also suck at finding new music these days.
If you use Spotify regularly, the subscription is definitely worth it. If you listen to all your music locally, definitely not--there are better local players than Spotify.

I've listened to nothing but The Beatles since they added them to Spotify.

I did the same thing for a long time. Just as @Keith

I am very open to suggestion at this point. I have about 60 gigs of music locally on a Macbook in iTunes. I sync all that to an appletv that feeds a stereo in my living room. That needs to keep happening (or something like it) as every time I've tried streaming to a living room stereo or something I've had issues. I could always just plug a phone in or whatnot, but I like having a dedicated device plugged in with local copies of everything ready to go, and I already have the appletv there and it works. It also serves up a synced folder of photos to a monitor above it, which is neat.
So I don't think my itunes library is going anywhere. That said, I also have an old 60gig ipod in my car, plus an iphone, plus a PC. On the PC I usually just use free spotify or Pandora or whatever.
My goals are: find and listen to more music. When I find things, have an easy way to keep them. I guess I'm fine with finding things with spotify and using my phone to listen to a lot, but then how to I get things into my car or onto the appletv? Re-buy music that I'm kind of already paying for?
There hasn't seemed to be an obvious solution yet, or i haven't put enough time into figuring one out.

2015 seemed like an exceptionally rough year in world affairs (as well as for a fair number of folks here) but personally it was a marked improvement over 2014 for me minus the godawful winter (which I'm sure will return for 2016).
Getting a handle on what I want to do career wise, and finally living in my own place with my g/f, have done wonders on my outlook and contentment.

Most of this year was just super stagnant and frustrating because of being stuck on a mediocre project at work and 4 years of multiple hours a day in traffic just wore me down completely. At the very end of the year I got moved to an office 2 blocks from my apartment and suddenly having extra hours in my day has been a godsend.
Paxes were fun, flopax was great. I didn't get to spend nearly enough time with friends both locally and from the Internet. I plan to remedy that next year.
Basically aside from that 2015 was just super boring for me and I'm glad it's done.

The Dog Who Saved Christmas is an Athiest's Air Bud.
The problem with Athiests is that they don't believe in Air Bud 2.
I have now learned that there are actually 14 movies in the Air Bud universe. That's astounding.

I went downstairs a while ago and my kids were watching MXP: Most Extreme Primate.

Maybe 2016 will be the year of agreeing to selfies.

Yeah, it would definitely be there.
I bet Jimmy still has the database somewhere.
Oh wait no, they're actually pretty exceptional and I'm insanely lucky.
We're sending the year out by christening the new deep fryer we got for Christmas with frozen garbage apps and then a homemade donut party!
I'm sorry we ruined your wife's year by using store bought icing.
This feels like a redneck version of Gosford Park.
I spend $5 a month every month. It's worth it.

You didn't ruin anything, we just like giving you a hard time.
Are you suggesting we go on an episode of Wife Swap?
I'm not sure that can be read any other way, and even if it could, I wouldn't want to.
Maybe it's time for Halfmex Pt III.
Cool cool.
Invest in a board game cafe.
I was thinking of just picking up a boardgame from the local shop.
but I never get to play boardgames anywho so I probably wont.
If you have a cafe then people will come to play board games with you.
I don't think they will hook many people with those.
They were better off impersonating Nigerian Princes.
She is now covered and I am working on catching up. Not a bad way to spend a year.

You wrap the jacket around a working PS2 with a copy of Resident Evil 4 in it, duh.
