    I had a theory about a year or two ago that since the comic's inception, they seem to be drawing Gabe's appearance to look like he's been getting progressively dumber as the years went by. This appears to continue with that trend.

    Is Gabe suffering from a degenerative neurological condition, and is that going to be a big reveal towards the end of PA's life?

    Certainly not since the comics inception, having gone back and read the old stuff in the books there is little to no development on the characters for quite awhile. I'd say its something that has been going on for the last 5 years or more.

    Late to the party, but... the art IS super weird. In the second panel Gabe seems terribly stoned. In the third panel Tycho seems terribly depressed. Like, they look like the living dead here, devoid of all emotion.
