Old website versions in firefox?

A website I go to just turned into one of those "Register.com" ads. Does anyone know if it's possible to access an old version of the website in my firefox cache? If I go offline now it just gives me the most recent version (ie. register.com).

The first thing I try is usually Archive.org. I don't know if Firefox keeps older versions, by the sounds of it, I think you overwrote the cached version when you saw the ad. Did you try going offline and accessing the page through your history, instead of by URL?

As Hevach said, you overwrote the URL once you saw the placeholder page.

Try archive.org, coral cache, and google cache:

To use archive.org, just go to www.archive.org and look it up.

to use coral cache, append .nyud.net:8080 or .nyud.net:8090 to the end of the url's domain, ie:
