Bitlocker on SP3

bocoboco Registered User new member
I've looked everywhere for clarity on this topic and would appreciate some help. I've been using Bitlocker on my SP3 for 6 months no issues. Yesterday when trying to enter the PIN prior to booting Bitlocker informs me that too many incorrect attenpts have been made. Research indicates I have tripped the TPM lockout period.

I have lost the recovery code so and don't have a Microsoft account. I'm hoping to let the TMP lockout reset. When I boot into Bitlocker the system shuts down after a couple minutes of inactivity which I believe prevents the lockout from resetting.

Does anyone know how to wait out the TPM lockout. If not, can I reinstall Windows and use my machine? Or am I just lost and need to request a replacement?

Thanks in advance.
