I am not quite sure, but it seems "reasonable" that you could get compensated for time the police detain you or the government takes of your time under the takings clause.

I doubt you would win, but it wouldn't be a ridiculous legal theory.

Breaking news. Self proclaimed "Free Forumer" Darkewolfe has taken over a small Forum outpost commonly referred to as the "Ancient Forum Knowledge", or AFK area. My sources indicate that this is a remote subforum with few visitors but it does hold important internet cultural significance. Updates as this story unfolds.

If we don't nip this in the bud, it will embolden future forumer ruffians to take over writers corner and graphic violence.

G&T already fenced those types off by giving them their own forum sections. Be warned though, once one enters Moe's Tavern or the so-called MMO Extravaganza, there is rarely seen escape.

As an escapee from the MMO Extravaganza, I can confirm this. The people are good, salt of the earth folks, but you find yourself whiling away days and years talking about drop rates and unhinged leaders (of raids), followed by the evening prayer to RNJesus.

In hindsight, the MMO subforum might actually be a cult.

Also: ~12.5 years right here. By the transitive power of averaging, I think that makes me... not a mod and pointedly not looking to earn @Geth's ire.

Ehh. We will just make a new thread.

It will be at least 6 months to a year before the trials start.

They seem full of praise for her. She's on their side, she's kept her promises, she's stood by them etc. In fact she's in so deep that JJ McNab has been speculating if Fiore will wind up with an indictment herself.

Speaking of, JJ herself has voiced her curiosity about the "deep pockets" that were supposedly funding the occupation. Dos anyone have any idea who those "deep pockets" could belong to, or if it was just idle boasting?

Probably as a true patriot for her help in exposing the lies. Cognitive dissonance is a hell of a drug. Senior Bundy's arrest is the new catalyst for both true martyrdom and their Fort Sumpter (if you ignore how that turned out).

Well, given the context & content of the quote:
...We also have a lot of deep pockets if you will, financial support that are willing to invest in the people of Harney County, so that they can get very low-interest loans so that they can buy cattle; they can buy equipment; they can [unintelligible but sounds like “buy mules”]; and pay employees.

I believe this was an appeal for support. "Hey, if anyone out there wants to do some fundraising to support us, we can give you some sweet, sweet low interest loans so you can do awesome things like buy used farm equipment, cows & farm hands,"

By 'low interest loans' I think Ammon more or less meant 'IOUs', given the nature of his proposed incentives.

It was probably a welcome improvement over the previous method of just having shit constantly oozing out of various pores and orifices.
