weird keyboard(?) problem

i dont" know what happened< but all my symbols are messed up> numbers don"t work< capital letters don"t work< i"ve restarted a couple times but still no luck> when i"m in a folder and try to select something< it shift_selects everything in the folder causing me to either launch thirty_one programs or nothing>


virus scanned|spyware scan< nothing


PLEASE HELP ME THIS IS SO FUCKING ANNOYING

    It looks like your shift key is permanently/automatically depressed, whether that's through something you have or haven't directly done yourself :|

    EDIT: Try going start -> settings -> control panel -> accessibility (keyboard tab). Maybe you've unknowingly turned something on?

    Dunno, not really an expert in the area.

    EDIT2: Ok, so I dug around a bit. Is this what you're referring to? If so, then it may be caused by your mouse (or something you've pressed on your mouse).

    thanks for the suggestions. found the problem. the right shift key got stuck when I was testing it a few minutes ago, apparently the button under the key was jammed down. Pressing the key got the whole thing stuck, then unstuck again. fucking thing ;\ Edit : Ripped the whole key off, fucking thing :\
