You don't need to kill anyone to learn magic. But, unfortunately, all magic kills people.

When we played 2nd E, I gave Flarne a book of spells which didn't include Magic Missile because that spell is a Timmy I actually forgot what it is called (option which seems good but mostly serves to trap players)

I think he was disappointed he couldn't directly kill anyone with his magic

Oh well, and he also only had two casts, the initial mage life in 2E is a hard life

I've got a fair amount of grey going on in my hair, but being a dirty blond hides it quite well.

(no seriously it's Star Trek: The Next Generation

I was going to say I'm giving up all other relationships but I think that might be what it means to start marathoning this show)

Don't get too attached to anyone. If Game of Thrones has taught me anything, it's that all characters in TV shows die all the time.

it might be interesting to do some MST3K stream thing. I'm usually up around your mornings though. So that probably won't work. No wait. Your early evenings?

fuck I have no idea what time/day it is anymore.

How far in are you? I just finished a repeat of DS9 and started on TNG myself. Season 7 DS9 was pretty much the Trek most perfectly calibrated to my tastes, and the difference is pretty jarring... if I ever repeat these again, I'll probably watch them chronologically, staggering episodes between each series when there were more than one airing at a time. That way the shifts in production quality will be a little less abrupt.

Realizing lately that I don't really trust or respect basically any of the moderators here. So, good luck with life, friends! Hit me up on Twitter @DesertLeviathan

Well, after spending half an hour defending how busy the professor has been to my best friend I messaged her to ask, clearly, when she would have a free, uninterrupted and undistracted evening (because after two months of coffee or dinner dates, I don't think that's a big ask). And now it has been 45 minutes without a response and my anxiety is telling me I fucked things up and I will never hear from her again because that's how things always go for me.

  • JuggernutJuggernut Registered User regular
I wouldn't worry too much if it's only been 45 minutes. Or, at least, it won't do you any good to worry.

And honestly, you can't spend all your time waiting on somebody who, unavoidable circumstances aside, might just not have time for a relationship. It sounds like she's very very busy and despite what she may say, if she can't make time for you then you aren't her priority and it isn't healthy for you to wait after her. And that's not to damn her or anything, just that some people are in different places.

I hope I'm not coming off too doom and gloom, here. If she wants this too work I hope she can find the time to make it work!
