I don't like how Malachi is leaning on the bookshelf that has the lantern on top of it...

OMG I can feel all the anxiety Linus is going through, silently hoping everyone will go away soon while scared to death that they might never leave. This won't end well for anyone. Either he suffers quietly or......well, there's three things a wise man fears

I can relate, Linus... That's what I want to do each other party or social meeting.
Fantastic update, great take on Malachi (hashtag trending on camp), plus lots of continuity.
    Bravo

I half-expected the kitty to be up on the bookshelf staring down with Linus.

That cat was harder to find than my dignity.

  • hajenhajen Registered User regular
all that's missing is Purdy running through the scene, putting BBs in the backside of the mountain lion.

Was hoping to find the cat keeping Linus company. Ah well.

Edit: By the way, thank you last-strip's-commentators for opening my eyes for Light Club = Night Club. How could I be so blind? (No lantern, obviously.)

Also also, does anyone else see two buttons, both of which say "Post", when editing a post? The fate of my writing hangs on this coin flip!

@tibxero Is it just me, or have the Kingkiller fans on this site been popping up a lot recently?

so I'm not the only one to have that happen to them ...
the left 'post' button seems to act as a 'cancel' button in disguise
if you or someone else hasn't already, I'l put in a bug report on the forum

Am I the only one who thinks Malachi looks kinda gross?

Kind of like a sleazy nightlight club manager? ;)

    Uh... @KatieJRice
You got some explaining to do!

Clearly, that lantern is a hallucination due to bear induced hysteria.

He recently had a PA strip:

Also, I think most people reading this comic just have good taste in media. :-)

Damn, nice catch!! I went and updated that old comic, which was made back when the rules of Camp W were still being figured out and explored. Thanks!

Does this make the book a collector's edition now?

No. We must insist that all copies of the book be incinerated.

What?! Editing the past?? Tsk, tsk. I shall personally endeavor to make #ThereWasALantern trending on Twitter. Besides, now they appear to be reading by moonlight, which just isn't healthy.

Is that a teeny tiny shrimp on a toothpick that Seventeen is holding? Mmmmm?

  • ObsidiasObsidias Registered User new member
I don't think it was a shrimp. Looks like cooked Elbow Macaroni.

@Briguy - They'll probably just edit it in the book too.

    When's that coming out, anyway?

    GEORGE LUCAS.

If Disney would like to buy Camp Weedonwantcha for 4 billion dollars, we're open to it.

If you think about it, Star Wars is the story of a bunch of kids abandoned by their families.

Feels like the opening scene of Boogie Nights to me

Can't wait for the "you're a star" speech from Malachi where he whips it out in the end

I don't know why, and I know this isn't canon, but I keep imagining Linus with a stutter. Like, Bill Denbrough level. Dunno, just think it's fitting- kinda cute, too.
