Harden has not been great either.

He hasn't and he is arguably the driving factor behind the team underachieving but he's their best player by far and has to play. Dwight Howard played 35 minutes last night; he took no shots at all in the first quarter and missed on one attempt in the fourth quarter. Even coach LeBron Lue would bench him at this point.

Is Boogie going to be a free agent or something? Why on earth would they want Dwight and vise versa? I could imagine seeibg Dwight on the Bulls if they can't keep Noah, whether it's a money thing or if he's just wanting to get the hell out of there. GarPax seems like a perfectly incompetent duo.
Or maybe the Colangelos sell Dwight on their build.

It's more like all of the headcases end up in Sacramento.

Dwight might be a head case, but he's one that still thinks he can A) be an effective star/centerpiece and command a max-type deal, I bet.

I don't disagree with your logic at all but I feel like Sacramento is the only franchise dumb enough to offer someone like Dwight close to max money. He is such an offensive black hole when he's not motivated and still a continuous injury risk. A just market would be closer to the veteran minimum than the max
He couldn't get along with ownership in Oakland, so I don't see how he makes it out of the interview process without giving Randive a swirly.
I don't think his more annoying qualities would have mattered to ownership much if he were also a creative coach that could take full advantage of a talented roster.

Houston will be blown up.
Utah is a PG away from being a 5 or 6 seed, I think. Wouldn't be surprised to see them go after a guy like Mike Conley

Almost certainly not Mike Conley though
He has been the core of the Memphis front office team strategy for years, and there is little chance they won't offer him whatever he wants
Rumors to the contrary are p much bullshit

let's hope he learned something because he was real bad in new york
That worked out great the first time
With actual Kobe
Edit: this isn't sarcasm it was hilarious
I'm not saying it WILL happen. Just that I desperately want it to, because if he ended up on the Knicks I might explode with glee.

the Wolves are great offensively
Thibs will make them a wall on the other end

Brooks is agressively mediocre
Which is a considerable improvement over Wittman
I have hope that they may actually make the second round, after the last game and this one. They seem to be somewhat clicking.
