    One of my favorite things about Shantae is that it's this series that is like on everyone's periphery - and now that they're hyping up for their Kickstarter game and releasing on every platform people are suddenly confronting all these anime boobs

    Yeah I hadn't actually played any of the Shantae games, but heard good things about them from many people. I actually threw in money for the Kickstarter too but haven't really kept up with it. Watching Ross and the other guy play it is like "woah". I guess that's part of the charm? Anyway the game looks fun so it's whatever.

    I think it's only because it's Ross's first time really working with Ray on something, and he also doesn't seem to know the game and its distracting him.

    What impresses me is that Ray is blitzing through the game (which isn't really what you should expect if you start watching his streams. He's generally good at games, but he's usually going in blind), and Ross is... actually paying a lot of attention and commenting on easily-missed things.

    There's been a nice long stretch of videos there where Ross wasn't on any of the Grumps channels/videos, and then suddenly Shantae happens. I agree though, he's actually been pleasant because he isn't going on about a story where he shit himself at a convention or being sick at a convention. When he disappears again for real life stuff for what sounds like a couple of weeks, I might actually miss the guy.

    I'm sure he'll come back with awful stories to annoy Barry or Arin with about those travels though, so no I won't.

    So Arin tweeted out that he guesses they'll play more Spongebob since the fans have requested it so much. I really wish they wouldn't. Its not as good as the folks that are nostalgic about it claim it is.

    Yeah it just looks like your run-of-the-mill platformer from that time period. I'm guessing folks were really into Spongebob and the VA work is great, so that's what they get nostalgic for.

    The SpongeBob episodes are worth it just for their reaction to the hand that came out when SpongeBob fell.

    BTW, SpongeBob SquarePants premiered in 1999.
