Kinda feel that Arin's claim the water temple isn't that hard is somewhat diminished when he's using a walkthrough to get through it.
Nah. He just needs to pull his head out of his ass and start using his shield.
Not the dredge of youtube. Just the nerdy ones talking about the game like he doesn't know. I'm pretty sure its a conscious decision on his part.

Yeah, he's gonna make it (though only because he's using a walkthrough).
I fail to see the correlation there. Him playing at least a bit better and grasping the basic mechanics of the game would not diminish the comedy value of the show. Currently, he's also playing Super Mario Maker and Dark Souls 3 fairly competently and somehow those playthroughs are pretty enjoyable.
Part of the humor of the show is Arin getting pissed off. Bonus points if he's getting pissed off by something there's a solution to because there's the chance he figures it out and we get that a-ha moment. If he were to just play the game like normal and talk about it, it might wind up sounding similar to that video that he already put out about the game. This way, they have other things to talk about relating to the game when they do talk about the game.
