Yeah, I almost added that this is the only situation in which you'll hear me say I was happy to "get off early".

You still intending to Parks and Rectify?

If people are interested, I could stream for a couple hours.

How many hours is a couple?

It is too nice outside to sit in watching TV at 6. But if it was 8ish, I'd be there.

I feel like my exes get some sort of signal, something activates in their brain, either when I start dating someone new or when I just get out of a relationship, and that leads to them contacting me

Two exes that I haven't heard from in well over a year both suddenly texting me within two days of my breakup

I was just worried because you are apparently eating very large quantities of ice cream, alone on a Friday night!

I mostly bought it because it's cloudberry icecream and I haven't seen that very often

also I didn't know that the english word is cloudberry. it's a really nice word. it reminds me of the north where it grows, the vast expanse of sky over the mountain landscape.

the berry is like an orange raspberry so it's not really like a cloud in itself.

It's real nice out, and I got a fridge full of beers to finish by the end of the month

How full is full? Is it beer worth drinking or is it chore beer, for the express purpose of getting drunk?

    Uhh, probably about twenty PBRs?

I was having a real bad day a week or two ago, and my roommate knows that the only way to cheer me up is to buy me a thirty rack.

But we're moving at the end of the month, and there's no way I'm moving a box of leftover Pabst.

I offered to tone down the flirting if it was too fast for it and I got a rather amused response

So I know this isn't the mental health thread, because I can't find it, but I went in and got diagnosed with bi-polarizm as I had feared. But now the pain of loss has been replaced with the journey of finding out who I really am, because the person I was before was a symptom of my disease, and now I have to discover who I am, and it's exciting. I'll always regret that I had to lose the person I love dearest to take this first step, I'll probably regret it for the rest of my life. But in a few months if I can get better I can try to form meaningful relationships again.

what is the point of mountain dew

it's just slightly more limey sprite

Once when I was in Hong Kong I was at a restaurant and asked if they had any Dr Pepper. They did not. But they had just recently gotten this new drink called Mountain Dew and would I like to try it?

    No. No thank you.

It honestly is tasty, but these days it is just way, way too sugary for me. It's like drinking frosting.

I don't really drink sody pop anymore though.

I didn't know it had caffeine! I retract my previous statement of sprite being superior to dew.

I stand by my statement of actual dew being superior to dew though.

The Ikea near me no longer sells their cloudberry cider which I loved. One day hopefully I'll go in and they well have it again at which point I will buy all the crates.

Until then I'll continue loving rum and fancy imported ginger beer.

None of them were hanging out with us in chat either. Clearly Britain's having a party and didn't invite the rest of us.

Which I guess is better than what they used to do which was take the party to everyone else and MAKE them join.
