I don't think the acting was necessarily the problem with Jurassic World.
considering the park was basically a tourist trap with overcompensating themed rides and exhibits I'd say the overall bored and distracted reactions were very realistic

Heh, I totally understand Josh's dad, that's exactly how I feel about my little girl. I don't care that she has Down Syndrome, she's my kid, she looks like me, and she's wonderful. But I also understand the arguments his brother is making about people saying "he doesn't know what he's doing." I see this all the time where people just assume my kid can't do something when she does it fine. My current beef is that her daycare keeps cutting up her food real small because they're afraid she can eat without a lot of trouble. She eats fine!
Of course, the "retarded" debate is something I'm still uncomfortable with. It's like some of those other words like the N word or LGBTQ insults. I don't feel the need to enforce the rules that you can't say the word EVER, but on the same token I know a lot of hateful people use it on a regular basis in the most vile and hateful way.

One of the things that boosted Nintendo stock wasn't that people didn't understand who made Pokemon Go, but that Niantic has yet to have an IPO. If Niantic had stocks for people to buy, they would have bought it. The same thing holds for The Pokemon Company, and Game Freak, which are also not publicly traded. McDonald’s Holdings Co. (Go launch partner) and Hosiden Corp. (Pokemon Go Plus maker), had stock rises similar to Nintendo followed by falls, though neither as dramatic as Nintendo.
It seems that, in lieu of being able to buy stock in the companies that actually made the game, investors were gambling on the closest related companies that were publicly traded to report a large increase in profits, rather than the more popular narrative that people just didn't know that Nintendo didn't own Pokemon.
