Getting a job at Pax East for vendors?

A girl I know told me there are loads of vendors that hire just a few weeks before PAX to man their booths and help out with their functions. Does anyone have any details on this and how to possible get a weekend gig working for a vendor there?

There's no general advertisement for this sort of thing as far as I know. I suppose that maybe there's an event workers' forum somewhere for that sort of thing. I know some places will send out tweets or what have you to their fanbase/userbase.
