So I was going to make this thread a while ago, based on pretty much this track alone:

...and that is still really the root of my request. But I held it off because I thought it wasn't enough to go on. Today I was listening to this:

...and thought it was similar enough to help me explain what I'm looking for. I'm into a lot of instrumental guitar music already, ie the Budos Band, Calibro 35 and Brownout! but they're funky and I need something a bit more laid-back. I also own a handful of Santana LPs which are great, but there's something about the vibe of that first track especially that has a very different groove.
Any ideas? I'm happy with instrumental album fillers but if you have particular bands - old or new - I'm all headphones!
