MOTW 27-04-16 Call that a tank
Scanners out people, lets see if we can get some action up in here.
MTMTE 52, everyone wants megatron dead
the letters page continues to break my heart too, 3 straight issues of people pulled through depression and assorted other crises. it's a rare book that has that kind of reach.
Saga 36 works the funny bone and the heartstrings

I'd actually just PM'd The Geebs to find out if there had been some official reason that the MotWs had ended, to be told that it was just lack of people making them. That had me thinking about how to kickstart them again, and here we are! ^_^
as far as the kickstarting goes:
i made this after Munkus said the other day the only thing he came to GV for was the MOTW thread. made me kinda depressed.
thing is the superhero thread has more traffic and more cachet, so if you want to reap a stack of awesomes for your scan that's the place to post it. it also moves too fast and takes in too much content though, so if you just wanna talk about cool stuff you've read this week it's not the best place.
i tend not to pick up my comics till Saturday, which means a late start getting this up, so if anyone else wants to go in first, be my guest. otherwise I'm gonna keep trying to plug away because I reckon this is GVs best chance of survival.
Marvel's just not doing much for me these days, especially after reading up on Standoff.
My problem was that I've had to cut way back on consumption lately, and didn't have any MotW to start my own thread with.
I loved the MotW threads, because they introduced me to a lot of titles I might have otherwise missed. Saga, Prophet, and I think, Rat Queens, were all titles that were first brought to my attention via MotW threads.
Hopefully I'll get a scan later, but
edit: Oh and Squirrel Girl was downright amazing, I don't even know how a scan would do it justice, it was Choose your own Adventure!
Cuts off top half so the rest is
Or so he thought, one monk survived, and felt endless guilt/shame for giving even more power to Doom.
Dark Cyberton has been MTMTE's only misfire. It's powered back out of it however. RiD has gone massively downhill to the point I'm more buying it out of habit now. Sins of the Wreckers looks beautiful but it's trying a bit hard to be edgy and it's just not really gelling for me.
