What kind of rates were you paying for the hotels in the near-by area with the Onpeak discount?

Unlike east and west, the south hotels are pretty all over the place for prices. The grand hyatt was > $200/night, the hilton placio del rio was around $200/night, but if you're willing to stay in an onpeak hotel a little further away, I feel like there were some that were a lot closer to the $100/night range.

Dang ok, thank you, about the same for hyatt with my AAA discount then. that sucks.

I think I paid $150/night at The Crockett, which was a pretty sweet hotel if you don't mind a 5 minute walk. Saving $100/night compared to the Hyatt was also nice.

Yeah I saw the Crockett, that did look pretty nice. Was that the Onpeak price?

I think I had $95 or $96 a night out at the Holiday Inn through OnPeak. It was a nice walk in/back every day (about 20-30 mins depending on how long Id been on my feet at the con) and it was out by some nice places to eat. It wasnt the most ritzy hotel, but the service was awesome and the room I was in was nice.
