Marvel Comics Thread! This Week's Unlimited Book Club Pick: Warlock (2004) by Greg Pak!
Huh. I would've expected a Netflix series if they wanted to do something with Ghost Rider.
I'm not too surprised, really
He's had two movies, both of which were critical flops and one of which was a financial bomb.
Unlike Punisher, he doesn't have the pervasive cultural presence to lean back on so I wouldn't be too shocked if Netflix wasn't super interested in a Ghost Rider series.
And since they're going with Robbie personally I'm fine with him being part of AoS as he hasn't even had 20 ssues of solo stories (and only 1 real guest appearance) so far so that's a pretty shallow well to draw from
The door is open for down the road if they want to do Johnny or Danny and this way Robbie gets a multimedia appearance and a big push in the comics after being MIA since Secret Wars wrapped up
+1

The teaser video on there, with the flaming skull bursting through the logo, looks like one of those cheap commercials for haunted house times at amusement parks

The first Thor isn't great but at least there's some drama to it
Thor 2 is like painfully formulaic and wanders from the protagonist for long stretches for no reason; it's pretty much only redeemed by hiddleston being great
I agree dropping Portman as Foster was a good move though; I'm still baffled by why she even took that role, since I assume she has enough money
hold your head high soldier, it ain't over yet
that's why we call it the struggle, you're supposed to sweat
The All-New Ghost Rider comics reveal that Robbie is a different kind of Ghost Rider. Instead of being possessed by a Spirit of Vengeance, he’s taken over by a Satanic serial killer. The S.H.I.E.L.D. bosses, however, were shy to say whether they’ll go down that same path. “We’re staying true to his circumstance,” Tancharoen said. “But as always with any property that we use, we’re taking our liberties with it.”

I'm just happy it's not more Inhuman stuff

...that's probably about 2 hours of the summer intern's time in After Effects.
They have the real people working on the skull, I'm sure.

I don't know about that though.... We don't want to jinx it and have White Martians invade
Trump is already running for president
He said white, not orange.
So I've been on this Marvel train for 2 years now, and I'm shocked it has not derailed yet
here comes thor 3, then
I feel pretty good about its chances of being both excellent and the best Thor film
some would say the bar is so low, you can't even trip over it
Thor is just boring
Yes the way is now open for the true Thor OTP

you don't have to
probably best to wait anyway as there's a good chance this'll just be a Ghost Rider in name only, like what happened with the Secret Warriors
