They have decent ladies, the writers are the problem. They should have the WHC and Women's cross-show, make a Women's tag for Raw and have the Men's on Smackdown.
For people who didn't see the first brand split, look up the Smackdown 6.
2 world champs
Reigns and Cena almost certainly not on the same show
Similar to first brand split (belts uncertain but tag expected on Raw, women's on SD, and one each of IC/US split) Indies (specifically Mexican and Japanese companies) about to be aggressively raided again [goodbye Rush]
RIP
Yknow what, I'm just not gonna think about it. If it happens it happens. That's fine. I'm fine.
You know...it may not be great for certain Indies, but It is great for those people who will get to pull down a WWE Paycheck for at least a couple of years while living out their dream to make it to the bigs. Beyond that it, it is a life changing for those one or two who might become stars.
Of course. I am obviously thrilled for whomever gets to make WWE money to go and make WWE money. Y'know, make that paper.
But as a fan of independent wrestling, and the things that independent wrestling does that corporate wrestling can't/won't do, I am also disappointed in the possibility of characters that I like either going away or being told to put away some of the stuff they're doing, both in the name of the needs of a giant corporation. And, beyond that, yeah, I'm not happy that it isn't great for certain indies, because independent art is important and vital.
To put it another way, I'm super happy Kota Ibushi gets to make WWE money*, while also super unhappy with the idea of watching a Kota Ibushi who doesn't shoot fireworks at Michael Nakazawa and wrestle Kaiju.
* provided he goes to the cruiserweight series, or signs a contract, or whatever dirtsheets are reporting

this bums be out. I totally respect that it opens up possiblities and can be done in a fun way but I still just want to see all my dudes on RAW and then watch smackdown when it's good
this is me hating change. damn it! when did I get old? oh right like ten years ago
You know which Super Jrs match I really enjoyed? Rocky Romero/David Finlay. David acting like a huge jerkbag straight from the start of the match caught me off guard and I really dug it. And Rocky Romero is just always a damn joy to watch.
Look I know LoL TNA but when I saw that last night on TV randomly flipping channels, just damn he looked so bad. Then there was the stupid psuedo-European accent he was doing. He also looks like he had really let himself go the past few months.
Nah. It could end up bad of course but at its core it's a fine idea.
Or they could have had people appear on both shows and alternating them around to make both relevant and feature more people.
Like they have Roman on Raw one week and not the next and Smack-Down the following week continuing the story that started on Raw last week. IE they only work one TV show a week and it changes from Raw to Smack-Down week to week
(Men Bracket)

I'd been assuming that Shane and Steph would each get a show to run, but what if they had Daniel Bryan run Smackdown instead? I'd love that.
Nah, then people would expect him to get in the ring eventually.
Also, I believe he's been pretty open about the fact that being around wrestling when he can't actually wrestle is something that really bothers him. If he can't be an active participant, I don't think he wants to be traveling on the regular all while having to watch people do the thing he can't do anymore.

splitting it is a great idea if the guiding principle behind it is "this will get a wider variety of people on tv"
This.
The idea of a brand split in and of itself is not inherently negative. It's all about what they actually intend to do with the split.
If the whole point is expose more performers to your audience, which will make them and you more money (and why wouldn't that be your entire business model in the first place?), then yes. Do it.
But there are many more ways this could go wrong than right.

Long term, I don't see this as being bad for the indies at all. They get raided by WWE, then they draw in new talent by pointing out how many of their guys got picked up by WWE.
And a few years down the road, there's twice as many former WWE names to draw bigger crowds to their shows.

Why would they go to WWE then

They damn well better get BabyMetal to play Nakamura to the ring.

I don't watch LU but I don't really think the writing is that garbage for the women in WWE currently?

Well, he wants to be the most swole GM in the WWE when he takes over as Smackdown!'s new GM.
Edit:
Oh Bryan....
His Twitter and Instagram are basically "Here's my wife, check out this amazing mulch I had delivered to my mom's house and here's my new snatch PR".
He looks happy, at least. I hope he is. Dude was dealt a shit hand.
Don't tell me something happened to Josie...
UK indy ICW (Insane Championship Wrestling) got a TV deal in Italy and has been airing for 2 weeks. Its total already:
Most recent ep had 310k
A random UK indy airing in Italy officially has more viewers than TNA does in the US
