minor page layout bug with emote function

the emote post thing I don't remember how to do, as seen in this post http://forums.penny-arcade.com/discussion/comment/35307055/#Comment_35307055 makes that post's background box wider than regular posts, like the current width of the window +some pixels, rather than width of the current window - some pixels like regular posts' background boxes, causing a horizontal scroll bar to appear. I'm seeing this bug on desktop firefox.
