Is my computer good enough for Dawn of War 2?
I'm tempted to buy Dawn of War 2, but I'm not sure how my computer would handle it.
I have a fairly modern laptop (8 gb RAM, i5 processor), but I don't have a dedicated graphic card (Intel HD 520).
Would I be able to run the game with reasonable settings, or should I keep to older games?

Very useful for seeing how a game will run on your PC.
Buy it on Steam so you'll have a refund period, but you should be fine.
Can't get it otherwise.
Yes, because GFWL was removed from the game and replaced with Steamworks.
Also GFWL never died. You can still play games that use it like Bulletstorm.

And if it doesn't work , no big whup, because I apparently have 3 of them.

That's really generous, you awesome, awesome person you!
I totally missed your "@", since I decided to track the autonomous vehicle thread though!
Based upon the advice @abmab , as well as the fact that I just downloaded and ran another older-isch game (xcom) in high settings, I decided to get one of those steam big packs with all of the expansions for just under 9 euro monies.
So: thanks a lot for the offer, but I'm already good on the DoW2 front. Warms my heart to be part of such awesome, helpful and generous community!
