    Hiveswap is supposed to be the Alternia side of the switch while Hauntswitch is the earth side. It's named after their town.

    I thought Hauntswitch was the name of then Old Creepy Probably Haunted Mansion With A Wrought-Iron Fence just across the road from the Harley/Claire house.

    First time I played the game, I didn't parse the fact that it was a synonym of "hiveswap", and thought it was something to do about ghostly hauntings and witches.

    I might be going crazy but I think that Zebruh is not intended to be an affectionate parody. It seems like Aaron Diaz has become something of a persona non grata in the webcomics community. Maybe after some behind the scenes creeping or maybe other folks just grew tired of him. But this has been a personal suspicion of mine for a while so maybe I'm just seeing what I want to see.
