GPS not working on Galaxy s4

As the title says, my gps is not working on my phone. This started about 3 months ago and now it never works. I am on Android 5.0.1 and have my gps settings on high accuracy. I have tried clearing my assisted gps settings, but so far no good. Any suggestions? I would prefer not to factory reset my phone unless there is a way to preserve all my setting exactly for my phone, as I would rather not have to hassle with resetting all my app settings again.
