Software for generating double-elimination tournament
I'm trying to hunt up software that I can enter names into which will automatically generate a double-elimination tournament bracket in a picture format, which I can then edit with winners/losers.
I actually did a Google search already, and didn't really find what I was looking for. That particular site doesn't seem to be sending me a confirmation e-mail, mostly I think because somehow it knows that my name isn't actually Bob Loblaw, and my business phone number isn't a local radio station. :P
Maybe Sevilla will serve your needs? It seems more oriented toward a professional tournament; I don't know what all the names and options mean so I can't really say if it'll do what you want.
Edit: What I meant about the other thing is that if you open it in, say, Frontpage, you should be able to just pick the table cells and type the stuff in. As far as convenience, though, you'd probably be better off writing it out on paper than editing that monster.

I'd like to be able to display it online. If it were just about keeping track of it, I wouldn't give a shit, and I'd use Excel. :P
I know, I'm making this difficult. I'll give that Seville a try when I get home. Thanks.

Unfortunately, this is hugely complicated, and I can't figure out how to get it to do a simple double-elimination tournament.

Would that work for you? A quick google search bears much fruit, including:

Can't vouch for it, but it sounds right.
Tried it last night. :P
I'll keep looking.
?
Edit: Wow, that thing spits out retarded code. Even so, any editor should be able to handle it.
Edit(2): Of course, it's not as pretty as automated stuff, I suppose.
Yeah, my first thought was just editing the code, but then I got a look at it.
