Deadpool comic suggestions

My son's 19th birthday is coming up, and I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to get. He likes the few comics I have around the house, and really liked the Deadpool movie.
So, what easy to get into Deadpool series/ authors are there to get with similar sensibilities to the movie? Looking to get trades if I can, not individual comics.

Joe Kelly's run is considered to be the one that put Deadpool on the map as he's known today.

If it's in your price range and you have an iPad or other tablet you can look at a Marvel Unlimited subscription.
Then he gets some much Deadpool plus tons of other Marvel stuff.

The Deadpool vs Thanos miniseries was pretty good.

Also Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe, Deadpool Kills Deadpool, and Deadpool Killustrated are all good stuff too.

Everyone has a price. Throw enough gold around and someone will risk disintegration.

I almost considered this, but he's starting college in the fall, and I don't look forward to that rabbit hole..
    :D
Thanks for the suggestions so far

Have you thought about Marvel Unlimited?

It's like a comics Netflix, they have a good 90% of everything ever, on a 6 month delay from new releases.

it's around 5-10$ a month, and constantly deals for freebie months also.

Looking at Marvel's site, you can get pre-paid gift cards for a limited subscription from places like Target and ToysRUs. That way you aren't stuck paying his subscription for the next 10 years.

Cable and Deadpool is absolutely mandatory reading. It is everything amazing about Deadpool, is a fantastic story, and is going to provide incredible context for the movie sequel which is gonna feature Cable.

If you like wacky with a darker sense of humor Jesus Christ In The Name Of The Gun might be up your alley ( Comixology link ). I mean who can resist Jesus and Earnist Hemingway teaming up to kill Hitler and a bunch of Nazis (in the first episode) ?

Just be aware it's a bit of a more mature comic with adult themes and language and such but that just means you get one liners like this:

This is good advice. This is best Deadpool. The first storyline involves him killing a shitload of zombie Presidents it's amazing. Then it goes on to do a pretty major tear jerking retcon of his origin. This run pushed Cable & Deadpool to second best for me. The Deadpool vs. Hawkeye that takes place towards the end of this run is also amazing.
