Expiremental Games

Penny Arcade, I am bored, tipsy, and my steam library ain't cutting it.

I got my mac hooked up to my big screen TV, and want to see the wild world of expiremental games. Games that challenge, delight, offend, surprise.

There was a couple of cool top 10 lists on Indiegames.com, but they stopped doing them in 2012.

Ideally free. Doesn't even have to be a game. Wild interactive stuff is great too.

This is a pretty open-ended question, I know.

My hero!

I've done some googling and I'm having the hardest time locating like a legit awards show that highlights these sorts of things and makes them easily accessible. What'd you advise as the best indie / experimental awards 'site' to keep track of?

Rock, Paper, Shotgun often covers interesting games, including games in the Free Loaders column (see also best of Free Loaders). Itch.io features stuff.

If you haven't played them there is "Don't Starve", "Limbo" and "Inside"(although I am not sure the last one is out for Mac yet).
