Hey mod's if your reading this, you can close the other thread. Its not worth trying to post there anymore. Might as well start this new one with actual Pics this time. Also please note I scaned the pics by the lot of 4 so if there vertical tough, it was scanned and I am not sitting there scanning each and everyone. ALso note there are laspses in the pics and days, they were mostly senery, monuments and such so I didn't put those in. Also most pics have more versions, but I chose some a few ones.
Anyway On with the show:
This is the first day when I arrived. You can see the Bidet and the remote on the wall. The seat was always warm when you sat down so it was cool. The room was small but it was enough for me. There was a TV on the foot of the bed you can't see and the bathroom door was where ther window is, sort of like a closet. My Pic is the first day after I visted the restruant for food and then went to sleep the next day.
This was my first trip to Japan so I hit the place where I wanted to go the most, Akihabara. The shops were cool, mainly I took pics of the various buildings boards which I quite liked. The top right is a cosply store, the rest stores and a game arcade.
By the time I was leaving it was around 5 or 6 and the street had been closed down. There were all these Cosplayers havign dance recitals and such so I grabs some pics of them. It was quite good actually and they know thier stuff. Also the Bottom right was one of the cosplayers which I liked.
When leaving there there was a cosplay display in the front of the station when I was going home. Bottom right is a Sakura from Cardcaptors the rest are maids. I think it was for a maid cafe which I admit, I never visted but wanted to. Maybe next time. The girls where really cool to talk to and seemed genuinely nice.
The 4th day I visted Shibya and Roppongi. The Dog statue in the top left is of some dog who kept waiting for his master at the station even when the master died. Brave and loyal Dog that. The Spider on the bottom left is the Spider at Roppongi hills, its quite big and nice. The malls at Roppongi hills were quite nice, presents were brought for family and I took this pic of Tokyo tower from a rest area there. Tokyo tower as seen in the bottom right was cool, I visted the wax museam, the art gallery and the guiness world records museam. Tokyo Tower was pretty cool too, I took one at night because it was cool.
This is where I saw Cherry blosoms for the first time in my life in day 6, and I liked them. The Cherry blosoms are in an area called Meguri where the parasite museam is. They have an 8.8 inch worm in display there that was taken from a man. Scary. The protest was outside some building when I went to the National Diet building. I was also suprised about the cigerettes that were sold so openly. You can't find that here in Canada.
On the seventh day I visted the Yunisaki (my spelling or name might be wrong, but thats what I remember, so please correct me if I am wrong) Temple where all thier war dead and such were burried. Quite a surrieal place and I felt honored to be let in and wander the area. The Zero fighter was built from real parts but they don't know what squadron it was from. The statue in the bottom left was of a famous samurai who tried to moderize Japan but got stabbed in the night.
This is the 7th day and my second trip to Akihabara. Agian the maids were there so I had to take pics. They were really cool and I had a little chat with them. Seems like they enjoy the attention and I am proud to say I support them.
This is the 7th day as well as the 8th. I found a cool fanta bottle so I took it to my room and took a pic with it. THe others are on the 8th day when I was leaving. You can see the hotel I stayed at. Also is the pic of the station, bottom left, where I went to and from every day.
Agian the 7th and 8th day. I took a pic of the vending machine to show how stuff was sold, pretty cool that. Also the station had a pokemon sign, bottom left, and I took a pic. Pokemon is still strong in Japan. The temple was outside and a few minutes walk from my hotel which was cool. They tought me how to cleanse myself and how to pray. The monks were pretty cool about me there and spoke quite a bit on english. Shintoism seems like a cool religion. The bottom right is when I came back.
So I can field questions if you have any. In short thats my trip. Pretty awesome, I plan to go back next year or the year after that, I am not really sure.

None actually. I am registering to take some courses in a university but other than that none. People know somewhat decent english and communication is sometimes through hand gestures but its pretty easy and I didn't get lost. People are really kind and helpful there.
but only 80% as delicious

Myself. I used the lonely planet's guide to go most places, I still have the poor tabbed and delapidated tour book from my trip. It took a beating as I read it as it mostly had directions and such on it. It was fun and made me feel like an explorer. Comming back from my trips at 9 or 10 and sitting in my hotel was quite lonely and boring most of the time. I mean I could put on CNN but comeone how muc CNN could you watch? I found some anime there which I watched and they had an english movie channel which had some good movies, old, but good.
why the hell not, it's content

Try and see, it might be worth a few laughs.
