That's not a good critique for strikes shouldn't be allowed. The working class would be in worse conditions without unions taking actions to support their members.

Or maybe the local government should realize the valuable fucking service those folks provide to the entire city. Bus drivers get paid alot for a reason, and it's because cities, of any real size, don't properly function without them. They kinda have the whole city, and really the whole state (because cities generate tons of revenue for the state), by the short hairs, and anyone playing chicken with them budgetarily is kinda dumb. Mainly because of how fucked everyone is when they all decide to say, "nah fuck it for today". Bus driver strike may suck, and yes it fucks a lot of people, but remember who the real enemy is.
(For real though, what's the dispute over? Is the bus driver's union trying to get something ridiculous?)

Which is understandable, but the bus drivers not being able to have better conditions to work under are also working under bad conditions. Will not matter due to risk levels involved with certain populations. Though I would say the old ban was way over wrought and homophobic.
Really it will be: "When was the last time you sexual intercourse?" "When was the last time you were tested for STDs?" "What was the outcome of that panel?" "Do you consent to being tested today?"
My aunt's swings haven't gotten a lot better after the years of prescriptions with the known side-effect of increased belligerence. I wonder how history would have played out if Spain had modern medicine.
My mother gave up and ended the stay early. Sometimes it's fine, but ever seeing her sister again isn't worth the times when it isn't fine. She'd like to take over the care of my grandmother, though.
Also, my cousin's lost his temper, after all of these years. He destroyed furniture and spat in his mother's face. People have been canonised for lesser patience, though. I wonder if he can stay angry enough long enough to get away from her financially.

They're looking for a pay rise. It went to the labour dispute court who recommend an increase which the bus drivers rejected and demanded over twice as much
They waited until schools were back to strike so it's not just impacting jobs, but also kids' educations
