The backlash against the civil and respectful protest by nfl players is totally ridiculous.
Up until 7 years ago the players were still in the locker room/warming up during the national anthem, and announcers would talk over it on the TV broadcast.
I know this shouldn't be surprising but good god reddit. Tried to discuss some new political development and pointed out that we don't have any proof for it yet.

Must stop expecting to have productive conversations on reddit. Shouldn't even bother posting, it is clear no one wants their echo boxes disturbed.
