As far as I can tell, it only affects the bookmark bar at the bottom of the site. When I tap on that and it pulls up my bookmarks, and I tap on one of my bookmarked threads, it hits the one below the one I tapped.
Not a big deal and I can compensate by tapping higher than I ordinarily would in the meantime.
