As with all the games before Diamond and Pearl, you cannot possibly catch them all if you do not engage in trading. Thankfully, this edition allows you to trade online with people from all over the world! Pretty rad, eh? Here is a list of guys you can only find in a certain version:

Note: Later in the game you will be able to transfer pokemon from the GBA games. They will be set loose in Pal Park upon doing so, but you get Park Balls (which are pretty much Master Balls) to recatch them with, so it's not a big ordeal. NOTICE THAT YOU CAN'T TRANSFER POKEMON FROM THE OLD GAMES (Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, and Crystal)

there is almost too much stuff to do in this game. I am only at the 4th badge because I have been underground digging and above ground planting berries, among many other things.

Definitely worth my 40 dollars.

By the way everyone, from what I can tell (and I played with it a good bit)

there's no way to time-cheat the Pal Park, in fact, if you do, it'll end up delaying you. It knows if the DS's clock or calendar changes in any way.
